        The PRV Audio 8MR600X is a robust 8-inch midrange driver built for professional audio systems, offering clarity and punch in the vocal and instrumental frequency range. With a continuous power handling of 300W and a peak capacity of 600W, this driver is well-suited for high-output setups in both indoor and outdoor environments.

         

        It features a 2-inch CCAW voice coil wound on a polyimide former for high thermal handling, supported by a die-cast aluminum frame for increased structural integrity and efficient heat dissipation. The frequency response spans from 85 Hz to 8,500 Hz at -10 dB, making it ideal for two- or three-way loudspeaker designs.

         

        Its Thiele-Small parameters - including a Qts of 0.40, Xmax of 5.25 mm, and sensitivity of 98 dB at 1W/1m - ensure optimal performance when used in properly tuned enclosures. The compact mounting depth of 3.75” and front mount baffle cutout of 7.29” allow flexible installation.
