        The 8MB700FT-NDY-4 from PRV Audio is an 8" professional midbass loudspeaker built for demanding pro audio environments. Featuring a neodymium magnet structure and a cast aluminum frame, it offers reduced weight without sacrificing structural integrity. With a sensitivity of 98 dB at 1W/1m and a frequency response ranging from 70 Hz to 5,600 Hz, this driver is tailored for clear and punchy midbass reproduction.

         

        Its 2.5" CCAW voice coil wound on a glass fiber former provides high thermal resistance, while the 11.5 mm winding depth ensures improved linearity and power handling. The low Qts of 0.22 and high BL factor of 13.9 suggest excellent motor control and transient response, making it well-suited for high-output, low-distortion applications. Its recommended high-pass crossover is 95 Hz, making it ideal for use in systems with dedicated subwoofers.
