        PRV Audio 8MB450-4 v2 Midbass Driver / Professional Loudspeaker

         

        The PRV Audio 8MB450-4 v2 is engineered for clarity and reliability in midrange and midbass reproduction. Featuring a lightweight yet strong stamped steel frame and a 2" voice coil wound on a Kapton former, this driver maintains excellent thermal and mechanical stability under continuous use. Its compact mounting depth of just 3.31" allows flexibility in enclosure design without sacrificing performance.

         

        With a sensitivity of 93.5 dB and an Xmax of 4.5 mm, it delivers dynamic performance in vocal and instrument-heavy mixes. The driver's 4-ohm impedance makes it compatible with a wide range of amplification setups, while the 76.59 Hz free air resonance supports responsive low-mid playback.

         

        Its frequency range extends from 75 Hz to 7,500 Hz (-10 dB), and it is recommended to use a 120 Hz high-pass crossover at 12 dB/octave for full power handling.
