        PRV Audio 6MR500-NDY Professional Midrange Driver

         

        The PRV Audio 6MR500-NDY is a 6.5-inch professional midrange driver designed specifically for high-output audio systems. With a rated power handling of 250 Watts RMS and program power of up to 500 Watts, it’s built to deliver serious output in mobile and fixed installations. It features a sensitivity rating of 96 dB (measured at 2.83V/1m), making it ideal for applications where maximum output with minimal power input is essential.

         

        The lightweight neodymium magnet structure ensures superior efficiency and reduced weight, making it perfect for compact line arrays or custom SPL projects. Its 2” (50 mm) CCAW voice coil wound on a Kapton former allows for reliable thermal performance, while the die-cast aluminum frame minimizes distortion and enhances structural integrity. The driver also offers a frequency response range from 90 Hz to 13,000 Hz, with a recommended high-pass crossover at 220 Hz (24 dB/oct).
