The PRV Audio 6MR200A is engineered for precision and power in compact midrange applications. It features a 6.5" nominal diameter and an 8-ohm impedance, delivering 100 Watts RMS and handling up to 200 Watts program power. With a sensitivity rating of 94 dB, it ensures efficient acoustic output without demanding excessive amplifier power.
Its 1.5” copper voice coil is wound on a durable Kapton former with an 8 mm winding depth, cooled by a 5.5 mm magnetic gap, enabling it to perform under extended use with minimal thermal fatigue. The stamped steel frame provides a solid structural foundation while maintaining a manageable total weight of 3.52 lbs (1.60 kg).
The 6MR200A achieves excellent transient response and vocal articulation thanks to its light 10.1 g moving mass and a free air resonance of 144.1 Hz. With a recommended high-pass crossover at 150 Hz (12 dB/octave), it integrates seamlessly in multi-way systems.
