PRV Audio 6MB200 v2 Professional Mid-bass Driver
The PRV Audio 6MB200 v2 is engineered for high-output mid-bass reproduction in demanding audio installations. Featuring a 6.5" stamped steel frame, this driver is built with a 1.5” (38 mm) copper voice coil wound on a Kapton® former for enhanced heat resistance and durability during extended use.
With a continuous power handling of 100W RMS and program power rated at 200W, it provides both strength and clarity. Its sensitivity of 93.5 dB ensures strong acoustic output with minimal input power, making it highly efficient for professional use.
The driver operates within a frequency range of 125 Hz to 6,500 Hz, ideal for midrange-focused setups, and requires a high-pass crossover at 125 Hz (12 dB/octave) for optimal performance. The mechanical and Thiele-Small parameters reflect a tight response, with a resonant frequency (Fs) of 123.28 Hz, total Q (Qts) of 1.13, and a moving mass (Mms) of 11.57 g.
Its compact size and shallow mounting depth of 2.6” (66 mm) make it versatile for tight enclosures or door panel installations, while maintaining high output and low distortion. Whether in a custom-built PA cabinet or a high-output car door install, the 6MB200 v2 offers a reliable solution for crisp and punchy mid-bass response.
