        PRV Audio 18SW3600 Professional Low Frequency Driver

         

        The PRV Audio 18SW3600 is a powerful 18" low frequency transducer designed for use in professional sound reinforcement systems. It features a robust 4.5” (114 mm) copper voice coil wound on a glass fiber former, ensuring excellent power handling and heat dissipation under heavy usage. With a rated power handling of 1800 Watts RMS and 3600 Watts program power, it delivers commanding bass output for large PA systems, subwoofer enclosures, and high-SPL setups.

         

        This driver boasts a sensitivity of 97 dB at 2.83V/1m and a frequency response of 35 Hz to 1,300 Hz, making it ideal for both sub-bass and mid-bass applications. The large 13.25 mm Xmax allows for deep cone excursion, contributing to precise, low-distortion bass reproduction even at high volume levels.

         

        Its die-cast aluminum frame provides structural rigidity, while the advanced motor system achieves a high BL factor of 27.11 Tm. The optimized suspension system offers a mechanical compliance of 0.079 mm/N and a Vas of 199.3 L, ensuring accurate cone movement and tonal consistency.

         

        Installation is straightforward, with a front baffle cutout of 16.67” (421 mm) and a mounting depth of 7.64” (194 mm). This driver is built for serious audio professionals looking for maximum performance in large-scale setups.
