        PRV Audio 10MR2000-NDY Professional Mid Range Driver

         

        The PRV Audio 10MR2000-NDY is a high-efficiency 10” midrange driver designed to deliver extreme power and clarity in demanding sound applications. Built around a die-cast aluminum frame, this speaker features a large 4" copper voice coil wound on a glass fiber former, ensuring durability under continuous use. The lightweight neodymium magnet reduces the driver's weight while maintaining high magnetic flux for powerful sound output.

         

        Its 1000W RMS power rating (2000W program) makes it ideal for use in high-output midrange enclosures or multi-way sound systems. With a frequency response from 90 to 6,500 Hz and 99 dB sensitivity at 1W/1m, the 10MR2000-NDY offers detailed sound reproduction with excellent transient response. A recommended high-pass crossover at 160 Hz (12 dB/oct) helps protect the driver and ensures optimal integration into professional audio setups.

         

        Key Thiele-Small parameters include a Qts of 0.51, Fs of 54.48 Hz, and a Vas of 27.98 L, making it suitable for compact enclosures. The Xmax of 7.15 mm provides adequate excursion for midbass impact, while the efficient design supports superior vocal projection and midrange detail, especially in outdoor or live settings.
