      The resonance-free kevlar cone is not the only feature that makes the SPH-165KEP so high-tech. The phase plug optimizes the radiation pattern and the well balanced suspension makes for optimum transient response, making the SPH-165KEP a very realistic sounding woofer.

       

      High power levels are no issue for the SPH-165KEP, not thermally but also not mechanically. These features and an extremely linear and extended midrange response make it an extremely competent woofer for your next two-way speaker.

      Woofers klinken anders dan het paar dat ik al had!? Ook na een aantal weken inspelen.

      I've been using a pair of these in bookshelf speakers and have to say these are really good. They can handle a lot of excursion with no aerodynamic noise and if tuned to use their potential, they can go subwoofer low even in a relatively compact enclosure. Another impressive thing is their flatness up to 6k, so matching them to a similarly flat tweeter shouldn't be a problem.
