The miniDSP PocketADC is a compact, high-performance A/D converter engineered for audiophile and measurement applications. Utilizing the ESS ES9821Q ADC chipset, it provides precise 24-bit conversion at selectable sample rates of 48, 96, or 192 kHz via DIP switches. The unit supports stereo analog inputs through unbalanced RCA connectors, and outputs digital signals via SPDIF (coaxial RCA) and TOSLINK optical formats.
Designed with versatility in mind, the PocketADC integrates seamlessly with the miniDSP Flex series, offering easy power-sharing through a single adapter. With a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz ±0.1 dB and an input impedance of 100kΩ, this device ensures accurate signal conversion across a wide range of use cases. Its portable form factor (13 x 40 x 62 mm) makes it ideal for on-the-go digitization, adding analog inputs to digital systems, or conducting detailed audio measurements.
