        The Hypex SMPS1200A100 is designed to provide reliable, high output power to modern amplifiers and active loudspeakers, especially those based on UcD and NCore technology. With main output rails delivering 2 x 40 VDC at up to 1200 W, it is an ideal match for powering multiple amplifier modules in a single system, ensuring dynamic headroom and consistent performance even during demanding audio playback.

         

        This power supply stands out with its advanced overcurrent protection, which temporarily limits output in case of overload and enters a safe "hiccup mode" only if the overload persists. Combined with its large primary electrolytic buffer capacitors, the SMPS1200A100 is capable of delivering high dynamic power bursts, perfect for music reproduction scenarios where transient response is key. The unit also features a symmetrical auxiliary output and a dedicated control circuit for seamless integration with Hypex amplifier modules.

         

        Installation and integration are straightforward thanks to its remote-controlled standby function, selectable input voltage (90–264 VAC), and easily accessible connectors for main output, auxiliary output, and amp control.
