Hypex Netfilter Mains Powered Passive Mains Input Filter
The Hypex Netfilter is built as a dedicated passive input filtering stage for integration in mains-powered products. It is especially useful in designs that use a switch mode power supply without active power factor correction, where the AC mains input current can contain dominant harmonic components.
By attenuating harmonic currents and reducing conducted emissions at the mains interface, the Netfilter helps improve the mains emission behaviour of the complete product. This makes it a practical integration accessory for OEM manufacturers working toward system-level compliance with applicable harmonic current and EMC requirements.
