Hypex NC100HF 1x100W NCORE Amplifier Module
The NC100HF is a high-performance Class D amplifier module developed as a channel extension for the Hypex Mains Powered NCORE platform. It is optimized for tweeter and midrange use in active multi-way systems, with a recommended operating range starting at approximately 500 Hz. The module delivers a flat response regardless of load impedance, very low conducted and radiated EMI, and a low output impedance of up to 2 mΩ below 1 kHz.
Integration is handled through the Hypex Channel Extension interface, allowing the NC100HF to be powered and controlled directly by a compatible NCxxxMP module. No separate external power supply is required, and amplifier enable and DC error behavior are managed through the connected NC-MP module. One NC100HF can be added to a single NC-MP module, making it a focused expansion option for compact active amplifiers and speaker electronics.
With 1 x 100 W peak output power into 2, 4 or 8 ohms, 106 dB signal-to-noise ratio and 3.5 W idle loss, the NC100HF is suited to precise high-frequency amplification in demanding systems. Typical applications include studio monitor loudspeakers, public address systems, home theatre designs and active speakers where an additional controlled amplifier channel is required.
The module measures 85 x 39 x 27 mm and is built for compact installations, but proper mounting and thermal management remain important. Maintain at least 6 mm clearance to conductive parts, use suitable insulation where required, and ensure natural convection is not blocked. The standard 250 mm cable assembly for connecting to the main NC-MP module is available separately.
