        4SMP-4 4" Surface-Mount Poly Cone Bass-Midwoofer

         

        The 4SMP-4 is a versatile 4-inch woofer tailored for surface-mount applications in compact speaker systems, commercial audio setups, or custom installations. Built around a shallow-profile frame, it is optimized for flush cabinet integration without compromising performance. At its core is a damped polypropylene cone paired with a rubber surround, offering a smooth and controlled response from 50 Hz to 6,000 Hz. The motor system features a vented pole piece for enhanced cooling and a copper cap to lower inductance and distortion. With a 26 mm aluminum voice coil former and integrated foam gasket, the driver ensures airtight sealing and stable thermal performance under continuous use. With a nominal impedance of 4 ohms, a sensitivity of 86 dB (2.83V/1m), and 30 W RMS power handling, the 4SMP-4 delivers efficient, clean output in a space-saving format — ideal for both bass-mid applications and full-range satellite designs where depth is limited.
