        Don’t throw away your classic speakers with blown tweeters! The GRS 1TD1-8 is a drop-in replacement for many classic OEM dome tweeters. Preserve the clarity of your classic speakers with these economical units, or add smooth highs to your affordable speaker project with this basic unit. It’s a lot of bang for the buck!

         

        The round faceplate of the 1TD1-8 fits the cutouts for most classic dome tweeters, while its shape reduces diffraction, preserving excellent on-axis response and detail. The 1" voice coil handles plenty of power, and the ferrite magnet assembly provides plenty of force for the lightweight dome, for dynamic reproduction. The 8-ohm impedance makes it compatible with most existing crossovers.
