The Fosi Audio Luna3 is made for listeners who want a clean, focused vinyl experience without unnecessary circuitry in the signal path. Unlike many modern turntables, it has no built-in phono preamplifier, allowing you to connect it to your preferred external phono preamp or an amplifier with a phono input. This keeps the analog output direct and gives you more freedom to shape your home audio system.
Playback stability is handled by servo motor technology with Hall sensor control, giving the Luna3 accurate electronic speed change for both 33 and 45 RPM records. The 300 mm acrylic platter is substantial and resonance-resistant, helping reduce unwanted noise while supporting consistent rotation. The listed speed variation is 0.1% at both 33 and 45 RPM, with wow and flutter of 0.1% at 33 RPM and 0.15% at 45 RPM.
The tonearm assembly is designed for accurate tracking and easy setup. The 8.6 inch aluminum tonearm uses a counterweight, cueing lever, tonearm lock, and anti-skate adjustment, with a recommended tracking force setup of 2 g. The included headshell with VM95E stylus can be removed, and the universal headshell connection makes future cartridge or headshell upgrades straightforward.
For daily use, the Luna3 includes practical features such as auto-stop, which can stop the platter after playback to help reduce stylus wear, and a 12V trigger out for synchronized power control with downstream devices. Rear connections include RCA output, ground terminal, power input, speed control, and the auto-stop switch. The turntable measures 420 x 112 x 330 mm, weighs 3.5 kg, runs from a 12 VDC / 1500 mA power adapter, and consumes up to 5 W. Connect it to a suitable phono preamplifier or amplifier input, attach the ground wire correctly, and enjoy clear, stable vinyl playback.
