        FaitalPRO LTH102 1" Elliptical Tractrix HF Horn is an element which increases the overall efficiency of the driving element, typically a diaphragm driven by an electromagnet. The horn itself is a passive component and does not amplify the sound from the driving element as such, but rather improves the coupling efficiency between the speaker driver and the air. The horn can be thought of as an "acoustic transformer" that provides impedance matching between the relatively dense diaphragm material and the air of low density. The result is greater acoustic output from a given driver.

         

        With a throat diameter of 25.4 mm and a frequency range extending from 0.8 kHz to 20 kHz, the LTH102 offers excellent compatibility with a range of high-frequency drivers. Its elliptical tractrix geometry is engineered to provide a nominal horizontal coverage of 60° and vertical coverage of 50°, ensuring precise sound directionality and minimizing unwanted reflections.
