        FaitalPRO 6PR122-8F Midrange Loudspeaker Driver

         

        The FaitalPRO 6PR122-8F is a professional-grade 6-inch midrange loudspeaker built for clarity and power in mid-frequency reproduction. Delivering 120W AES power and up to 240W maximum, this 8-ohm driver is ideal for integration into compact yet powerful sound reinforcement systems. With a sensitivity of 97 dB and frequency response from 125 Hz to 10,000 Hz, it ensures excellent vocal presence and articulate mids. The unit features a 37 mm (1.46 in) aluminum voice coil wound on a heat-resistant Kapton former, allowing stable performance under demanding conditions.

         

        Its neodymium ring magnet contributes to a lightweight build while maintaining high magnetic flux density (1.6 T). The aluminum basket provides rigidity and minimizes resonance, while an integrated aluminum demodulation ring further reduces distortion. The treated polycotton half-roll surround and constant-height spider ensure reliable suspension and excursion control. With an Xmax of 2.75 mm and damage limit up to 11.6 mm, the 6PR122-8F supports dynamic midrange playback with minimal risk. Its compact dimensions and lightweight (1.3 kg) make it especially suitable for high-output applications where space and weight are constrained.
