        The FaitalPRO 5HX220 features a sophisticated coaxial architecture that merges a 5-inch low-frequency woofer with a high-frequency dome tweeter, both utilizing 37 mm voice coils. This design ensures precise time alignment and consistent directivity, delivering point-source sound reproduction essential for professional speakers and studio monitors. The LF driver employs a treated polycotton cone with triple roll surround for smooth excursion and durability, while the HF section utilizes a ketone polymer dome for clean, extended highs up to 20,000 Hz.

         

        Exceptional sensitivity ratings of 91 dB (LF) and 104 dB (HF) guarantee that the 5HX220 achieves high output with modest amplifier power, making it suitable for portable PA systems, stage monitors, and high-quality woofers in compact enclosures. The use of neodymium ring magnets in both LF and HF sections contributes to the driver's light weight, at just 1.04 kg, and compact profile, which aids in easy mounting and transport.

         

        Engineered for reliability, the 5HX220 supports maximum power handling of 300 W for the LF driver and 60 W for the HF, while maintaining a minimum impedance of 6.4 Ohm (LF) and 7 Ohm (HF). The driver’s aluminum basket and integrated demodulation rings help to minimize distortion and improve thermal management. The combination of a glass fiber former for the woofer and a Kapton former for the tweeter delivers robust performance even during prolonged operation, ensuring longevity in demanding professional environments.
