        FaitalPRO 18XL1600 High-Performance Subwoofer – 8 Ohm Version

         

        The FaitalPRO 18XL1600 8 Ohm version is designed for professional subwoofer applications where high-output bass and system flexibility are essential. This 18" driver features a 100 mm (4 in) copper voice coil on a glass fiber former, with a power rating of 1600 W AES and 3200 W peak. The 8 Ohm nominal impedance allows for efficient integration into amplifier channels and multiple-speaker setups, especially in large-format live sound systems.

        Its neodymium crown magnet structure minimizes total weight while maintaining high magnetic strength. The triple roll surround, dual symmetrical spiders, and triple aluminum demodulation rings enable tight excursion control and reduce harmonic distortion—even at extreme SPLs. With a frequency range of 30 Hz to 1500 Hz and 12.92 mm Xmax, this subwoofer is ideal for use in reflex or folded horn designs where depth, power, and reliability are critical. Built in Italy to exacting standards, the 18XL1600 delivers uncompromising low-frequency authority.
