Its lightweight polycotton cone, combined with a triple roll surround, not only contributes to extended excursion and accurate low-frequency response but also enhances speaker durability under demanding conditions. The inclusion of a ferrite ring magnet further supports its robust build and consistent performance.
Performance-wise, this woofer stands out with a sensitivity of 96 dB (1W/1m) and a power handling capacity of 200 W AES, peaking at 400 W maximum. Its frequency response from 60 Hz up to 4500 Hz allows for clear and punchy bass as well as articulate midrange, making the 10FE400 suitable for a broad spectrum of audio setups. The 44 mm copper voice coil on an aluminum former ensures efficient thermal dissipation and reliable operation during prolonged use.
