The Dynavox AMP-S III is designed for users who want flexibility in their hi-fi system without constantly reconnecting cables. It allows easy switching between two speaker pairs when using a single amplifier. Alternatively, it can connect two different amplifiers, such as a stereo and a surround amplifier, to a single pair of speakers.
The construction focuses on both durability and signal integrity. The fully aluminium enclosure integrates seamlessly with other hi-fi components while providing effective shielding against electromagnetic interference. The solid 8 mm thick front panel enhances both the robustness and the timeless aesthetic of the unit.
Technically, the AMP-S III is built for demanding applications. Its internal wiring features a 4 mm² conductor cross-section, and the low-resistance switch supports power handling of up to 600 watts per channel. This makes it suitable for high-performance audio systems where reliable signal transmission is essential.
The large, solid connectors accept both binding posts and banana plugs, accommodating speaker cables with larger diameters. The high-quality switch routes both positive and negative signals and includes a neutral position, providing added protection against short circuits during switching.
With dimensions of approximately 190 x 70 x 215 mm and a weight of around 1.3 kg, the Dynavox AMP-S III is compact enough for easy placement in an audio rack while maintaining a solid and premium feel. The black finish fits perfectly into both modern and classic hi-fi environments.
