The Duelund Coherent Audio JDM-CU-SN-600-0,033 belongs to the JDM Tinned Copper Foil capacitor series. It is designed for signal applications and uses a radial, leaded mounting style, making it suitable for high-quality audio builds where component choice in the signal path is critical.

The JDM series uses a wax paper in oil dielectric, a construction approach associated with Duelund’s higher-end capacitor designs. The paper between the copper foils is vacuum impregnated, and the windings are wax impregnated to help seal the capacitor winding completely. This makes it a strong choice for demanding crossover components where stable, high-quality parts are required.

This capacitor has a 10% capacitance tolerance and a body size of 22 mm diameter by 41 mm length. The lead-outs measure 0.9 mm in diameter and 54 mm in length, giving practical flexibility for point-to-point wiring, crossover layouts and other audio circuit installations involving high-grade capacitors.

The outer lead-out closest to the edge of the capacitor is connected to the outer foil. For best practice in signal applications, connect this side to the lowest impedance path to ground, generally the signal output.
