The JDM Pure Copper Foil series is built for high-quality audio use, including crossover components, signal electronics, and bypass positions. JDM stands for Jensen Domestic Market, a reference to the Jensen capacitor manufacturing heritage and the close working relationship behind this production approach.

These capacitors use copper foil combined with a wax paper in oil dielectricum, a construction method previously reserved for Duelund’s top-level CAST series. The paper between the copper foils is vacuum impregnated in a deep vacuum process, after which the windings are also wax impregnated to help seal the winding completely.

The capacitor winding sits in an outer paper body and is potted using the same material approach as the CAST models. Rated at 600 Vdc, the JDM Pure Copper Foil design offers a robust copper foil construction for demanding audio upgrades where build quality and signal integrity matter.

For correct installation, the outer leadout closest to the capacitor edge is connected to the outer foil. Connect this side to the lowest impedance path to ground, generally the signal output. The JDM Pure Copper Foil design can also be used as a replacement for discontinued Duelund Copper Foil Precision Bypass Capacitors.
