The CAST-PIO-CU-AG-630-0.047 belongs to Duelund Coherent Audio’s top CAST series of high-end audio capacitors. Its construction is based on the Virtual Stack Foil principle, developed to reduce losses, distortion and microphonics for accurate and natural sound reproduction.
The capacitor uses a Paper in Oil design with Duelund’s proprietary WPIO impregnation. This process takes several days under high pressure and creates a structure with exceptional damping properties. The result is a mechanically stable capacitor intended to let music flow with clarity, dynamics and realism in demanding crossover components.
Duelund CAST capacitors are suitable for a wide range of audio applications, including crossover networks, signal coupling, bypassing and filtering. They can be used in speakers, amplifiers, preamplifiers, DACs and CD players where transparency, tonality and natural presentation are priorities.
