The CAST-PIO-CU-AG-630-0,022 is part of Duelund Coherent Audio’s CAST capacitor range, created for audio systems where tonal realism, clarity and stability are priorities. These capacitors use paper in oil construction with proprietary WPIO impregnation, a process that supports both sonic performance and long-term durability.

Duelund’s CAST design builds on the Virtual Stack Foil principle, developed to reduce losses, distortion and microphonics. The capacitor construction is engineered for strong mechanical damping, helping maintain stability in sensitive crossover components and other audio circuits.

The CAST series is suitable for use in crossover networks, signal coupling, bypassing and filtering. It can be applied in speakers, amplifiers, preamplifiers, DACs, CD players and related high-end audio equipment where transparent signal handling is required.

For installation, the outer lead-out nearest the edge of the capacitor is connected to the outer foil and should be connected to the lowest impedance path to ground. Duelund DCA16GA wire readouts are used, supporting the capacitor’s high-quality construction for demanding amplifiers and audio applications.
