        The CAST-PIO-CU-AG-630-0,01 is made for audio builders who want premium capacitors with very low mechanical noise and a natural presentation. Duelund’s CAST construction focuses on damping and stability, making it especially relevant for high-quality passive crossover components and other critical signal-path positions.

         

        Its design builds on the Duelund Virtual Stack Foil principle and uses a proprietary WPIO dielectric system. The impregnation process takes several days under high pressure, resulting in a stable, highly damped capacitor body. A ring of hard-pressed paper further reinforces the construction and supports the effortless flow of music.

         

        Duelund capacitors are suitable for crossover networks, signal coupling, bypassing, and filtering. They can be used in speakers, amplifiers, preamplifiers, DACs, CD players, and other audio equipment where clarity, dynamics, transparency, tonality, and realism matter.

         

        The capacitor uses Duelund DCA16GA wire lead-outs. The outer lead-out, positioned closest to the edge of the capacitor, is connected to the outer foil and should be connected to the lowest impedance path to ground for optimal installation practice.
