        The Duelund Coherent Audio CAST-PIO-12-CU-0,27 is a premium 0.27 mH copper foil air-core inductor for demanding audio crossover applications, combining 12 AWG foil construction with CAST damping and WPIO impregnation.

        The Duelund Coherent Audio CAST-PIO-12-CU-0,27 is built as a high-quality air-core coil for audio crossover networks, filters and electronics. Its copper foil conductor is wound onto a compressed paper former, with waxed/oiled paper used as the insulation layer. This construction is designed for very low resistance, low distortion and a clear, natural signal transfer in high-end audio systems.


        The CAST process gives this inductor its distinctive mechanical character. A proprietary WPIO dielectricum is used during vacuum impregnation under high pressure, a process that takes several days and contributes to the coil’s damping and stability. For demanding crossover components, this helps reduce microphony and keeps the inductor mechanically stable during operation.


        The CAST copper foil version uses 12 AWG copper foil measuring 150 micrometres thick by 20 mm high, terminated with twisted copper leadouts. This makes it a serious choice for premium coils in loudspeaker crossover designs where consistency, thermal stability and long-term reliability matter.
