        The Dayton Audio WP80XTW is designed as a versatile pendant speaker for commercial and residential audio systems. Its 2-way design combines an 8.0" graphite cone woofer with a rubber surround and a 1.0" silk dome tweeter, delivering clear, balanced sound across a wide 37 Hz to 20,000 Hz frequency range.

         

        A built-in passive radiator gives the WP80XTW extended bass response that is uncommon in pendant-mount designs. This helps create a fuller and more immersive sound, making it well suited for outdoor speaker installations, patios, commercial venues, and indoor spaces where both sound quality and a clean visual appearance matter.

         

        The IP66-rated ABS plastic enclosure is built for demanding environments and provides reliable weather-resistant performance. With its white finish, compact pendant form factor, included top cover, eyebolt, nut, hanging cable, and carabiner, the WP80XTW is prepared for secure and tidy suspended installation.

         

        For system flexibility, the integrated transformer supports 70V taps at 3.12 W, 6.25 W, 12.5 W, and 25 W, plus 100V taps at 6.25 W, 12.5 W, 25 W, and 50 W. An 8-ohm bypass allows use with standard amplifiers, while 88 dB sensitivity, 105 dB maximum SPL, 90° coverage, and 50 W RMS power handling make it a practical choice for distributed audio applications.
