        The SS18-22 is an 18" Signature Series subwoofer built for uncompromising low-frequency performance. With massive displacement, dual 2-ohm voice coils, and an ultra-powerful motor system, it’s designed to deliver reference-level bass in high-output home theater, professional audio, or car audio systems.

        The SS18-22 represents the ultimate subwoofer in the Signature Series, engineered for maximum impact and ultra-deep bass reproduction. Its 18" aluminum cone is reinforced by a compliant rubber surround, designed to withstand the stresses of high excursion while maintaining accuracy and control.

         

        At the heart of the SS18-22 is a massive motor system with a triple magnet structure, delivering a commanding BL factor of 29.2 Tm. The 3" 4-layer copper-clad aluminum voice coil (CCAW) is supported by dual spiders and extensive venting, allowing the driver to sustain 1300 watts RMS of continuous power without thermal issues. With an extraordinary 26 mm Xmax and piston area of 1188 cm², the SS18-22 achieves a displacement (Vd) of over 3 liters—producing earth-shaking bass with authority.

         

        The low resonance frequency (Fs) of 21 Hz, combined with a Qts of 0.37 and Vas of 224 liters, makes the SS18-22 particularly suited for large vented or infinite baffle systems where maximum depth and efficiency are desired. Its sensitivity of 90.8 dB (2.83V/1m) and usable response from 20–400 Hz ensure it integrates seamlessly into full-range setups as a dedicated low-frequency powerhouse.
