        The SS15-22 is a 15" Signature Series subwoofer designed for extreme low-frequency output and uncompromising power handling. With dual 2-ohm voice coils, massive excursion capability, and advanced motor engineering, it’s built to deliver earth-shaking bass for home theater, professional audio, and high-performance car audio systems.

        Product details SS15-22 Signature Series Subwoofer

         

         

        The SS15-22 represents the largest and most powerful subwoofer in the Signature Series. Its design prioritizes both output and accuracy, making it capable of delivering chest-thumping bass with authority while maintaining clean, low-distortion performance. The dual 2-ohm voice coils offer wiring flexibility for multi-amp and high-power setups, ensuring seamless integration in demanding systems.

         

        The subwoofer features a rigid aluminum cone with a compliant rubber surround to withstand the stresses of long excursion. Its 3" 4-layer copper-clad aluminum wire (CCAW) voice coil, wound onto a high-temperature former, allows for sustained operation at up to 1100 watts RMS. Extensive venting supports effective cooling, minimizing thermal compression under high-output use.

         

        At its core, the SS15-22 employs a powerful triple-magnet motor structure with shorting paths to lower inductance and distortion. A massive 22 mm Xmax and expansive piston area (Sd) enable an extraordinary displacement, producing ultra-deep bass extension with precision. With a usable frequency range from 20–400 Hz and optimized Thiele/Small parameters, it performs equally well in sealed or vented enclosures.
