Dayton Audio SA1000DSP 1000W Subwoofer Amplifier with DSP
The Dayton Audio SA1000DSP is built for customers who want serious bass output and precise system control from one compact unit. As a dedicated subwoofer amplifier, it delivers 300W per channel into 4 ohms, 159W per channel into 8 ohms, 600W bridged into 8 ohms and up to 1,000W bridged into 4 ohms. Its efficient Class D design provides strong low-frequency performance with reduced heat generation and a frequency response of 10 to 200 Hz.
The integrated DSP gives you the tools needed to tune a subwoofer system without adding external DSP modules. You can adjust the low-pass filter, high-pass filter, phase from 0° to 180°, delay, limiter settings and parametric EQ. The EQ section combines a 3-band manual PEQ with a 5-band Auto EQ section, giving a total of eight parametric EQ bands for correcting room peaks, shaping bass response and improving integration with your main speakers.
Setup is handled through the front panel controls or the built-in browser interface. Connect the SA1000DSP to your network via Ethernet, open a browser on a device on the same local network and access the amplifier controls directly. The web interface provides real-time system status, input and output meters, preset management, Auto EQ, power-saving settings and network configuration. Up to 20 presets can be stored internally, making it easy to switch between different tuning profiles or system configurations.
The SA1000DSP offers the connectivity needed for modern home audio and custom installations. Inputs include balanced XLR, unbalanced RCA and coaxial S/PDIF, while line outputs are available on RCA and XLR for feeding additional amplifiers, powered speakers or expanded systems. The DSP-processed line output can apply high-pass filtering and delay to help integrate the subwoofer with the main speakers. With AUTO standby, adjustable wakeup sensitivity, 12V trigger input and output, universal 100 to 240 VAC power and included rack mounting hardware, the SA1000DSP is ready for both standalone and rack-mounted installations.
