        Burson Audio V7VA-D-1 Fully Discrete Vivid Air Dual Opamp

         

        The V7VA-D-1 is designed as a discrete replacement for standard IC op-amps in an 8-pin DIP socket. It brings the Vivid Air sound signature to compact audio components and upgrade projects where power efficiency matters, especially when several op-amps are used in the same device.

         

        Its precision-engineered multi-layer PCB separates the signal path, grounding, and shielding into dedicated layers. This compact structure keeps the signal path short while improving protection against airborne interference, supporting the clarity, accuracy, and vivid musical energy associated with the Burson V7 series.

         

        Compared with standard IC op-amps, the V7 Vivid Air is built to deliver a wider soundstage, clearer instrument separation, and tighter, more textured low-frequency reproduction. With lower current demand than the V7 Vivid Pro, it is well suited to suitable amplifiers and systems where available power supply capacity is limited.

         

        The V7VA-D-1 is suitable for many op-amp upgrade applications, including compatible DAC converters, headphone amplifiers, computer sound cards, car amplifiers, recording consoles, preamps, and integrated amplifier designs. It operates from ±5V to ±16V, draws 16 mA in dual configuration, and includes reverse voltage protection for dependable installation.
