        Beyma CP-22 Compression Tweeter

         

        The Beyma CP-22 is engineered for demanding high-frequency applications where accuracy and projection are key. Featuring a 1.5” (38.1 mm) aluminum voice coil and a durable aluminum diaphragm, the CP-22 delivers 25 W AES power handling and up to 50 W program power above 5 kHz. Its conical 40º dispersion ensures tightly focused directivity, making it ideal for outdoor sound systems and long-throw applications. Operating within a frequency range of 5 kHz to 20 kHz, the tweeter exhibits a very high sensitivity of 107 dB, measured at 1W/1m. With a flux density of 1.55 T and a Bl factor of 5.2 N/A, it achieves excellent efficiency and transient response. The compact 102 x 102 mm profile and moderate weight of 1.6 kg make it straightforward to integrate into a variety of cabinet designs. Recommended crossover is 5 kHz or higher (12 dB/oct). Whether for stage monitoring or large-scale installations, the CP-22 ensures detailed and dynamic high-frequency output.
