        Beyma CP-16 Compression Tweeter

         

        The Beyma CP-16 is a high-efficiency compression tweeter optimized for clarity and projection in high-frequency ranges. Designed for use in multi-element loudspeaker systems, the CP-16 features a 1” (25.4 mm) aluminum voice coil paired with an aluminum diaphragm, producing a high sensitivity of 105 dB (1W/1m). Its frequency range spans from 3 kHz to 20 kHz, with power handling rated at 15 W AES and 30 W program power. The tweeter’s focused 40º conical dispersion ensures accurate long-distance coverage, making it ideal for outdoor sound systems and installations requiring high directivity. The CP-16 is lightweight at 0.75 kg, with an overall size of 86 x 86 mm and a depth of 65 mm, allowing for easy integration into compact speaker enclosures. A crossover at 6 kHz or higher (12 dB/octave minimum) is recommended. With a flux density of 1.45 T and a Bl factor of 4 N/A, this tweeter delivers dynamic and distortion-free high-frequency performance in demanding audio environments.
