        Beyma CD-11Fe Compression Driver

         

        The Beyma CD-11Fe is a high-performance 1” compression driver designed for precise high-frequency reproduction in professional audio systems. Featuring a 1.75” DUO double-layer aluminum voice coil wound in/out for improved heat dissipation and mechanical integrity, it delivers consistent output even under demanding conditions. With a program power handling of 140 W (above 1.5 kHz) and sensitivity of 109 dB (1W/1m), this driver ensures high efficiency and clarity in both touring and fixed installations. Its PM4 polymer diaphragm is optimized for smooth, natural sound, extending frequency response from 0.7 kHz to 19 kHz while reducing distortion and breakup modes. A ferrite magnet motor structure, finely tuned using finite element analysis (FEA), provides a flux density of 1.5 T and a Bl factor of 6.6 N/A. These parameters contribute to improved linearity, low distortion, and stable performance across the driver’s working range. The CD-11Fe is compact, with a 110 mm diameter and 59 mm depth, and mounts via three M5 threaded holes spaced 120º apart (on a 57 mm circle) or two M5 holes 180º apart (on a 76.2 mm circle). At just 1.8 kg, it’s a versatile and durable solution for applications where fidelity and output matter.
