        Beyma 8NMFW Low Frequency Transducer

         

        The Beyma 8NMFW is a powerful 8” low-frequency transducer designed for high-efficiency, low-distortion performance in compact professional speaker enclosures. It features a robust 2” QUATTRO in/out aluminum voice coil capable of handling 200 W AES and up to 600 W peak, with a high sensitivity of 90 dB (1W/1m). This driver stands out with its extended linear excursion (±9 mm Xmax) and an impressive 43 mm peak-to-peak maximum displacement before damage. Incorporating Beyma’s proprietary Malt Cross® Cooling System, the 8NMFW minimizes power compression and enhances thermal handling, ensuring consistent performance even under demanding conditions. A carbon fiber cone and dustcap contribute to rigidity and reduced breakup, while the FEA-optimized ceramic magnetic circuit ensures a strong, controlled magnetic field. The mechanical design includes a double BIMAX spider and NBR surround, providing stability and maintaining linearity across its 30–2500 Hz frequency range. With its optimized triple demodulating circuit of aluminum and copper, the 8NMFW excels in clarity and low distortion, making it ideal for professional PA systems, monitors, or compact subwoofer applications.
