        Beyma 8MI100 Mid Frequency Transducer

         

        The Beyma 8MI100 is a high-efficiency 8-inch transducer designed for mid-frequency applications where detail, intelligibility, and low distortion are essential. With 250 W AES and 500 W program power handling, it achieves a sensitivity of 96 dB (1W/1m) across a broad 100 Hz to 7,000 Hz frequency range. It features a 2” aluminum voice coil wound on a polymide fiberglass former, optimizing both thermal resistance and transient response. With an extremely low moving mass of 0.019 kg and a Bl factor of 11.5 N/A, the 8MI100 provides fast, accurate sound reproduction ideal for vocal and instrument-focused PA systems. The mechanical construction allows a peak-to-peak excursion of 6 mm, while maintaining low distortion, even at high SPL. Housed in a compact frame only 94 mm deep and weighing 3.1 kg, this transducer is perfectly suited for stage monitors, compact vocal enclosures, and midrange reinforcement in larger systems.
