        Beyma 6CX200Fe Coaxial Transducer

         

        The Beyma 6CX200Fe is a compact 6.5” coaxial transducer engineered for full-range audio systems that require accurate sound reproduction, high output, and rugged construction. Featuring 200 W AES / 400 W program power handling in the LF section and 25 W AES / 50 W program in the HF, this model delivers excellent sensitivity at 94 dB (LF) and 102 dB (HF). This unit combines a 2” woofer voice coil and 1” HF compression driver, utilizing a shared ferrite magnet system to maintain phase alignment and efficient power use. The transducer covers a frequency range of 60 Hz to 20 kHz with a recommended HF crossover at 3.5 kHz (12 dB/oct minimum). Key components include a weather-treated paper cone with a Santoprene™ surround for durability, a CONEX spider for stable suspension, and a shorting cap that extends response and reduces distortion. A PM4 diaphragm in the HF section and a 70º dispersion horn ensure clear, wide off-axis coverage. With an Xmax of ±5 mm and peak-to-peak mechanical excursion of 32 mm, the 6CX200Fe can handle high dynamic output without compromising clarity. Its compact form factor (115 mm depth) and 3.6 kg weight make it ideal for portable monitors, compact PA speakers, and fixed installation systems.
