        Beyma 18LEX1000Fe Low Frequency Transducer

         

        The Beyma 18LEX1000Fe is a high-performance 18” low-frequency transducer engineered for precision bass reproduction. With a continuous power capacity of 1,000 watts AES and 2,000 watts program power, it delivers reliable performance under rigorous conditions. Its 98 dB sensitivity allows for high output efficiency, while the extended frequency response from 35 to 1,000 Hz ensures deep and defined bass output.

        The driver features a 3.5” DUO in/out copper voice coil that enables high thermal stability and long-term reliability. It supports an impressive linear Xmax of ±11 mm, with a total peak-to-peak excursion capability of 51 mm, allowing the subwoofer to handle high dynamic signals without distortion. The moving mass of 0.196 kg and Bl factor of 23.8 N/A contribute to accurate and punchy low-end response.

        The 18LEX1000Fe incorporates Beyma’s Malt Cross® cooling system, which minimizes power compression and maintains stable performance over time. The FEA-optimized ceramic magnet structure, aluminium demodulating ring, and weatherproof cone (treated on both sides) make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Designed for bass-reflex enclosures (Vb = 174 L, Fb = 37 Hz), it excels in both direct radiation and band-pass subwoofer systems.
