        Beyma 15MLEX1000Nd 380 mm Bass-midwoofer 8 Ohm

         

        The Beyma 15MLEX1000Nd is a high-performance 380 mm woofer designed for low and mid frequency reproduction. With a frequency range of 40 to 3,000 Hz, it is well suited to high-output bass and mid-bass applications where efficiency, displacement and controlled behaviour are essential.

         

        Power handling is a key strength of this bass-mid-woofer. It handles 1,000 W AES and 2,000 W program power, while its 100 dB sensitivity helps deliver strong output from available amplifier power. The 8 Ω nominal impedance, 6.8 Ω minimum impedance and 5.3 Ω DC voice coil resistance make it a practical choice for serious loudspeaker designs.

         

        The motor system uses an FEA-optimized neodymium magnetic circuit with a 101.6 mm DUO double layer in/out CCAW voice coil, aluminium demodulating ring and Beyma’s Malt Cross® Technology Cooling System. This construction supports low distortion, reduced power compression losses, ultra-low air noise and optimized linear behaviour.

         

        For demanding audio components projects, the 15MLEX1000Nd combines robust mechanics with useful excursion capability. It offers ±11 mm Xmax, 60 mm peak-to-peak excursion before damage, a Conex spider and a weatherproof cone treated on both sides. Mounting dimensions include a 393 mm overall diameter, 373 mm bolt circle, 352 mm front baffle cutout and 189 mm depth.
