        Beyma 15MCS500 Low & Mid Frequency Transducer

         

        The Beyma 15MCS500 is a robust 15-inch transducer tailored for low and mid-frequency reproduction in demanding professional audio systems. With a power rating of 500W AES and 1000W program, it delivers consistent high output, aided by a high sensitivity of 98 dB. The transducer operates effectively within a 50 Hz to 4,000 Hz frequency range, making it suitable for 2- or 3-way PA system configurations and line arrays. The 15MCS500 features a 2.5” copper wire voice coil and is equipped with Beyma’s proprietary Malt Cross® Cooling System to ensure low power compression and extended operational longevity. Built with an optimized pressed steel frame, it provides structural strength while maintaining lightweight integration (6.2 kg net weight). An FEA-optimized magnetic circuit and aluminum demodulating ring help reduce distortion and improve linearity. The weatherproof cone treatment on both sides enhances durability for both indoor and outdoor use. With an Xmax of ±8 mm and peak-to-peak damage excursion of 40 mm, the 15MCS500 is engineered for dynamic performance in modern sound reinforcement systems.
