        Beyma 15MC500 Low & Mid Frequency Transducer

         

        The Beyma 15MC500 is a 15-inch professional transducer engineered to deliver high-output low and mid-frequency reproduction. With a power handling of 500W AES and 1000W program power, it is built for demanding sound reinforcement applications. Featuring a 2.5” copper voice coil and Beyma’s proprietary Malt Cross® Cooling System, the driver maintains low thermal compression and ensures high efficiency over extended use. Its FEA-optimized magnetic circuit incorporates an aluminum demodulating ring, reducing distortion and improving transient response. The unit offers a sensitivity of 98 dB (1W/1m) and operates effectively in the 50 Hz to 4,000 Hz range, making it suitable for both 2-way and 3-way PA systems. Designed with a weatherproof treated cone on both sides, the 15MC500 ensures durability in various environments. Its mechanical architecture supports an extended excursion of ±8 mm and a peak-to-peak excursion of 40 mm, providing robust performance under extreme conditions. Weighing 6.2 kg and with a compact 172 mm depth, it also supports efficient system integration.
