Beyma 15LEX1000Fe Low Frequency Transducer
The Beyma 15LEX1000Fe is a powerful 15” low-frequency transducer designed to deliver clean and controlled bass in professional audio environments. With a power handling capacity of 1,000W AES and 2,000W program power, it offers solid performance in subwoofer configurations that require reliability and output. Its 97 dB sensitivity ensures efficient sound reproduction across the 40–1,000 Hz frequency range.
Equipped with a 3.5” DUO in/out copper voice coil, the driver achieves a controlled linear excursion of ±11 mm (Xmax) and a peak-to-peak mechanical limit of 51 mm, making it capable of handling demanding low-end dynamics. The FEA-optimized ceramic magnetic circuit and aluminium demodulating ring contribute to low distortion and excellent transient response, supported by a Bl factor of 23.2 N/A and low moving mass of 0.142 kg.
Thermal efficiency is maximized with Beyma’s exclusive Malt Cross® cooling system, significantly reducing power compression during extended use. The cone is weatherproof-treated on both sides, and a mechanically robust structure including a treated spider ensures durability in challenging applications. With a recommended bass-reflex enclosure volume of 115 liters tuned to 42 Hz, the 15LEX1000Fe is ideal for direct radiation and band-pass configurations in portable or installed PA systems.
