        Beyma 15CMV2 Low & Mid Frequency Transducer

         

        The Beyma 15CMV2 is a 15-inch transducer designed for accurate low and mid-frequency reproduction, particularly in compact vented cabinets. With a 3” copper voice coil, it handles up to 350 W AES and 700 W program power, maintaining high output efficiency with a sensitivity of 97 dB (1W/1m). The recommended enclosure volume of 75 liters with a tuning frequency of 50 Hz supports deep bass extension in space-constrained designs. It incorporates a ferrite magnet motor structure and an optimized pressed steel frame for enhanced durability and cost-efficiency. The treated double roll cloth surround ensures smooth excursion and extended linearity, while the mechanical parameters—including 7 mm Xmax and 35 mm peak-to-peak damage excursion—enable reliable performance under load. Suited for bass and midbass roles in both fixed and mobile PA systems, the 15CMV2 stands out for its clean transient response, low distortion, and rugged build, making it an excellent choice for compact, high-performance loudspeaker projects.
