        Beyma 12WR400 Low Frequency Transducer

         

        The Beyma 12WR400 is a 12-inch low-frequency transducer from the WR Series, designed for extended low-end performance in portable and installed audio systems. Capable of handling 400 W AES and 800 W program power, it offers a high sensitivity of 97 dB (1W/1m), making it suitable for efficient systems with solid low-frequency output. Its 3” copper voice coil works with an FEA-optimized ceramic magnetic circuit to deliver linear response with minimal harmonic distortion. The mechanical structure allows for an Xmax of ±6.3 mm and a peak-to-peak excursion of 30 mm, supporting strong low-end performance without compromising clarity. The cone is treated on both sides for weather resistance, making the 12WR400 reliable in outdoor environments. Designed for bass-reflex enclosures between 30 to 100 liters, and operating over a frequency range of 45 to 5,000 Hz, it’s a dependable choice for bass and mid-low applications in touring, fixed installs, and PA systems. With a shallow depth of 131 mm and net weight of 5.5 kg, integration is simple and space-efficient.
