        Beyma 12MC700Nd Low & Mid Frequency Transducer

         

        The Beyma 12MC700Nd is a 12-inch low and mid-frequency transducer engineered for high-efficiency sound reinforcement systems. With 700 W AES and 1,400 W program power handling, this driver delivers reliable performance under demanding conditions. Its high sensitivity of 99 dB (1W/1m) ensures strong output levels even with moderate amplification. Built around a lightweight neodymium motor and 3” DUO double-layer in/out copper voice coil, the 12MC700Nd incorporates Beyma’s Malt Cross® Cooling System to minimize power compression and enhance thermal stability. The voice coil is paired with an aluminum demodulating ring for reduced distortion and optimized linearity. A waterproof cone with dual-sided treatment, Xmax of ±7 mm, and 48 mm peak-to-peak excursion before damage, allow for extended performance and reliability. Recommended for use in bass-reflex enclosures (Vb = 40 liters, Fb = 67 Hz), this transducer is ideal for compact systems that require clean, articulate bass and midbass with minimal distortion and exceptional efficiency.
