        Beyma 10MCS500 Low & Mid Frequency Transducer

         

        The Beyma 10MCS500 is a 10-inch transducer built for low and mid-frequency applications in professional PA systems and line arrays. With a 500 W AES and 1,000 W program power rating, it delivers high efficiency and reliability while maintaining a sensitivity of 96.5 dB (1W/1m). Operating across a wide 70 Hz to 5,000 Hz range, it is well-suited for compact 2- or 3-way designs. The 2.5” copper voice coil, cooled by Beyma’s patented Malt Cross® system, ensures minimal power compression and thermal stability during prolonged use. Its magnetic circuit, optimized with FEA techniques, incorporates an aluminum demodulating ring to reduce distortion and enhance clarity. Engineered with a rugged pressed steel frame and a dual-side weather-treated cone, the 10MCS500 supports extended controlled excursion of ±8 mm and a 40 mm peak-to-peak mechanical limit. At just 125 mm depth and 5.7 kg weight, it integrates easily into compact enclosures, making it an ideal choice for portable PA systems and fixed installations requiring durability and fidelity.
