        Beyma 10G40 Low Frequency Transducer

         

        The Beyma 10G40 is a 10-inch woofer from the G40 Series, designed for efficient low-frequency reproduction in compact enclosure designs. With a power handling capacity of 400 W AES and 800 W program power, it delivers a consistent and powerful response while maintaining a sensitivity of 95 dB (1W/1m). The transducer features a 3” copper voice coil wound on a polymide fiberglass former and housed within a large magnetic structure for optimal heat dissipation. With an extended Xmax of ±7 mm and peak-to-peak excursion up to 28 mm, it ensures clean and punchy bass even at high drive levels. Operating from 45 Hz to 4,000 Hz, the 10G40 is ideal for woofer applications in small reflex enclosures (recommended 20 to 70 liters). With a net weight of 5.7 kg and a shallow depth of 118 mm, it provides ease of integration into compact, portable speaker systems without compromising performance.
