        The Audio Note CAP-100-STDR-5U-500V is part of the Standard Audio Note electrolytic audio capacitor range. This series was developed as an entry level within Audio Note’s electrolytic line, while still focusing on sound quality for demanding audio components and high-voltage circuit positions.

         

        Its construction combines a high-quality electrolyte with carefully selected standard paper and a specially developed foil. The result is a 500 V electrolytic capacitor intended for high-voltage power supply use, making it a suitable choice when selecting quality capacitors for audio equipment builds, repairs or upgrades.

         

        This version provides 5 µF capacitance with a 20% tolerance and a 500 V voltage rating. The polarised format makes it appropriate for circuits that require a polarised electrolytic capacitor rather than a non-polarised or bi-polar type.

         

        Audio Note developed its Standard electrolytic capacitors for use across its own finished products from Level Zero through to lower Level Three models.
